Join us for the FIFTH annual BrewNost! A Benefit for The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library!

 

BrewNost! is the trendy beer sipping and sampling event held yearly to benefit the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library. Our signature event will include wine, homemade desserts, hot jazz music, fine international foods, a silent auction, and a raffle drawing for a trip to Prague. In partnership with the Beer Guys at John’s Grocery, our guests will enjoy live jazz from EMC with Craig Erickson and Dennis McPartland and Dennis Redmond on the piano.

 

Guests will enjoy 32 premium international

beers, paired with appetizers from the following major Cedar Rapids and Iowa City chefs:

Asia – Sushi House

Belgium – Devotay

Belgium – Cabo Grill

Canada – Zins Restaurant

The Museum anticipates the event will draw about 600 guests and will raise $60,000 to be applied towards the Museum’s operating costs. "The money raised from this event is a significant portion of the Museum’s income," comments the Museum's president and CEO Gail Naughton." It’s challenging for non-profit organizations to raise money for operating costs. Profits from this event go a long ways in keeping the doors to the Museum open from year to year."
