Helene Baine Cincebeaux will present "My Journey Collecting Kroje in the Old Country" highlighting the past 50 years of her collecting journey. Held in the Hemphill Theater from 10 a.m. - noon CST, a book signing will follow. NCSML has all three of Helene’s books available for signing: “Crowning Glory,” “A Treasury of Slovak Folk Dress,” and “Slovakia! Helene presents her program “Creating Beauty Through Nature” in person at the Hemphill Theater and online via Zoom at 2 p.m. CST to discuss how village people used things at hand to create beauty in their clothing, homes, and churches.
