Performance: Orchestra Iowa School Advanced Harp Ensemble

Join us for a free harp concert in Rozek Grand Hall at the NCSML! This performance is part of May’s Free First Saturdays for Students schedule.

The Orchestra Iowa School Advanced Harp Ensemble is a select group of harp students under the direction of Gretchen Brumwell.  The group has performed at many events and venues in Cedar Rapids, including the grand opening of the downtown library, NewBo Market, the Opus Concert Café, Lindale Mall, and the Orchestra Iowa Holiday Spectacular concerts.  In 2006, the group released their first CD, “Still, Still, Still,” and in 2012 they were invited to perform in the rotunda of the State House in Des Moines.
