Enjoy a summer ice cream treat while making Earth-friendly art! Dale Chihuly is a glass sculptor and artist who has amazed folks with his large-scale glass works. He has experimented with all sorts of art mediums, from colored pencils and paint to glass blowing. Some of his sculptures are on display at the NCSML from April 29 through October 1.

During this family-friendly workshop, kids of all ages are invited give plastic bottles new life by making them into glass-like chandeliers and sculptures! This project could get messy, so aprons are provided.

Seating is limited. Please RSVP for this program by June 16. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For each paid child admission, one adult may attend for free.
