Free First Saturdays for Students: Krazy Kraslice : Traditional Egg Decorating Craft

Egg decorating is an important and beautiful part of Czech and Slovak culture. Normally it would be done with real egg shells, wax, and dyes, a technique called kraslice (also the Czech word for Easter egg). Today we will be making our own kraslice-inspired egg crafts designed by Becky Popelka, owner of Big Picture Gallery & Studio in Coralville.
