2020 saw the 100th anniversary of Karel Čapek’s play R.U.R. This groundbreaking play gave the world the word “robot” and ushered in the science fiction genre. The exhibition highlights Karel Čapek’s life and works, the play R.U.R., and the resulting mania for robots we have seen in the last 100 years.
