The long history of the University of Olomouc, Czech Republic, dates back to the 16th century. It is now a modern hub of higher education and cutting-edge research centers and laboratories, in the fields of biotechnological, biomedical, agricultural, plant research, molecular medicine, translational medicine, and nanotechnologies, and more.
Join us for the opening of “450 Years of the University of Olomouc, 1573-2023” exhibit with banners to experience the fantastic history and stories of the truly great Moravian University. There will be a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. followed by remarks from Dr. Cecilia Rokusek, NCSML President, Dr. Dalibor Mikulas, NCSML Vice President, Stefanie Kohn, NCSML curator, and Palacký University Olomouc dignitaries et al in the Skala Bartizal Library.
