In this talk Petr Fleischmann will be drawing upon current discussions about the future of European integration and about the upcoming conference on the future of Europe, which is currently being prepared.
Journalist and university professor, current Chairman of the Editorial Board of the New Presence, Mr. Fleischmann has been the Advisor to the Czech Senate’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Security since 2006 and worked as the Secretary of the committee (1997−2006). In the 1990s, he was Editor of Lidové noviny (1996−1997) and a Member of the Czech Television Council (1992−1994). Mr. Fleischmann graduated in Philosophy from the Sorbonne, holds a post-graduate degree in History from European University Institute in Florence, Italy, and was a Professor at the École Supérieure de Gestion in Paris.
