Free First Saturdays for Students: Czech and Slovak Fairytale Day

Students of all ages (preschool through college) are invited to visit the NCSML’s exhibits for free on the first Saturday of each month during regular museum hours. College students must bring a current school ID card. Regular admission rates still apply to non-students. Members of the NCSML are always free!

Activities for March 4:

Learn about Czech and Slovak fairytales and folk tales, and make some unique fairytale-inspired crafts! Plus, professional storyteller Darrin Crow will tell tales about legendary Slavic folk figure Baba Yaga at 1:00pm in the Skala Bartizal Library.

9:30am – 4:00pm: Museum galleries and Museum Store open
9:30am – 4:00pm: Folk and fairytale inspired DIY craft activities available
1:00pm: Professional storyteller Darrin Crow performs in the Skala Bartizal Library
