Free First Saturdays for Students: On the Right Tracks
June 2, 2018 @ 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Cost: Free for students, regular admission for nonstudents.
During World War I, the Czechoslovakians rode the Trans-Siberian Railways East across Russia. Between 1915 and17, 60,000 Czechs and Slovaks signed up to fight for the Russian Tsar against the Austro-Hungarian Empire who had held control of the Czech lands for more than a century. Students can come in to learn more about this from our Guts & Glory: The War Train that Shaped a Nation exhibit and make their own train craft!
Sponsored by United Fire Group. Contributing sponsors: Katherine & Ludvik Svoboda.
