Beer is an important staple in the Czech Republic; however, one of its main ingredients, barley, is used in many other ways than making suds. Barley, like other cereal grains, is actually pretty healthy and can be found in many traditional meals such as soups, stews, bread, and many more! Today we will be learning from our guest, Alina Warner, how to make what her family affectionately calls “Gnarly Barley.” So, don’t be tardy, come learn how to cook barley!
