Immigrant Foodways: Plants Through History

Free, please RSVPJoin us in the museum’s Czech and Slovak Heritage Garden! Judy Stevens, a member of the Linn County Master Gardeners, will talk about how plants have shaped our world’s history. Marissa Hedlund, the NCSML’s garden intern, will share special tidbits about the museum’s heritage vegetables – including a tasting of anything that’s ready to try!
This program will begin outdoors in the Czech and Slovak Heritage Garden, then move indoors for the talk by Judy Stevens. In case of rain, the entire program will be held in the museum’s Skala Bartizal Library.
