Music at the Museum: The Nadas (An Official Freedom Festival Event)

Start your 4th of July holiday right with The Nadas at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library! The Nadas are a rock/folk/indie band from Des Moines. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs (no outside alcohol may be brought into the event area) to the museum’s Rockwell Collins Amphitheater and enjoy an evening outdoors listening to this popular Iowa band. Hy-Vee will be on site with food available for purchase, and the museum will host a beer garden.

 

Parking: Parking is available in the parking lots surrounding the museum, and there is on-street parking in Czech Village and in surrounding areas. Consider leaving home a little earlier than normal in order to find a parking spot, and to walk to the museum. Some handicapped parking will be available in the parking garage under the museum; look for signage to guide you when you arrive.

Alcohol: Absolutely no alcoholic beverages may be brought into the event area from outside. There will be a beer garden on site if you would like to purchase beer during Music @ the Museum. Please have your ID ready as you enter the event area; look for the entry point for those wishing to enjoy a beverage. You will receive a wristband.

Pets: We love our furry friends, but please leave pets at home for their safety and the safety of others. Thank you for your cooperation!
