This Friday, on September 6 at 5 pm in the Skala Bartizal Library, we will be holding a welcome ceremony for the twelve figurines that will be installed in our newly renovated clocktower!
Each figurine was handcrafted by Slovak artist, Andrej Haršány, representing the stories of immigrants who came to the United States from Czech, Slovak, Moravian, and other lands. These figurines will awaken every hour to the music of Czech composers Antonín Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana. Be sure to see them dance on September 27, during our grand unveiling!
