Winter Wednesdays: Local Authors & Artists

Everyone is a kid during the holidays! Stop in for discounted gallery admission ($3 youth price per person instead of regular admission prices) and holiday shopping. The galleries and the Museum Store will be open until 7:00pm.
Members are always free!
Join us in the Museum Store from 5:00 until 6:30 to meet some of our favorite local artists and authors. Plus, share a drink with your friends at our cash bar!
- Master Czech Folk Artist Marj Nejdl will be personalizing ornaments, including her first annual custom-designed ornament, which is exclusive to the NCSML.
- Author Dave Rasdal will be on hand to sign his popular book Czech Village & New Bohemia: History in the Heartland.
- Author Pat Martin will also be signing two of her favorite books: Czech Touches’and Czech & Slovak Wit & Wisdom.
- Signed copies of Deep Dish Divas CDs will be available. Band members include: Carrie Kriz (one of our Visitor Services Coordinators!) on double bass, flute, and vocals; Deb Hunemuller on fiddle and vocals; and Karen Pierce on guitar, hammered dulcimer, and vocals.
As always, there is no admission cost to visit the Museum Store only. All are welcome!
