Czech Jazz Legend Emil Viklický returns to the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library April 16 at 7:30 p.m. with rising star Jan Smigmator, whose 2023 Carnegie Hall debut captured the attention of jazz enthusiasts around the world.
Viklický, a seasoned jazz pianist and graduate of Berklee College of Music, has collaborated with jazz icons such as Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Smigmator brings a fresh, dynamic vocal style that has captivated jazz enthusiasts worldwide.
This exciting collaboration will showcase a mix of timeless classics from the Great American Songbook, blending the sophisticated artistry of Viklický with Smigmator’s expressive vocals.
