Join the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library at Turner Alley Brewing Company (2715 12th St SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404) for the second History on Tap of 2016!

Special guest Mark Stoffer Hunter, historian at The History Center in Cedar Rapids, will delve into the weird and wonderful history of area drinking establishments. Learn about such local favorites as The Foxhead, the Mandarin Inn, and the Shake Your Booty Lounge. (True story.) Find out which bars, taverns, and saloons were frequented by area Czechs and Slovaks. Mark’s stories are sure to entertain!

The event is free, but if you desire some delicious craft beer, that must be purchased from Turner Alley Brewing Company during the program. Must be 21+ to buy beer.
