Chihuly Family Art Workshop: Crazy Chandeliers

Dale Chihuly makes crazy, swirling chandeliers that are made up of thousands of pieces! In this workshop, we’ll make chandeliers that are much simpler and lots of fun.
Chihuly has experimented with all sorts of art mediums, from colored pencils and paint to glass blowing. Some of his sculptures are on display at the NCSML from April 29 through October 1. (See the Laguna Murano Chandelier in Petrik Gallery while you’re here for Free First Saturdays for Students!)
Seating is limited. Please RSVP for this program by August 4. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For each paid child admission, one adult may attend for free.
