Our latest live online Zoom cooking series comprises of 5 classes. Our Fall Cooking Series will take you on a delightful journey through Czech and Slovak cuisine. We’ll start with the comforting Brussels Sprouts Soup, then explore the savory depths of Szegedin Goulash. You’ll master the art of flaky, layered pastries with traditional and vegetarian versions of pagáče, and discover the versatility of potato flatbread, lokše, in both sweet and savory preparations. Finally, we’ll wrap up our culinary adventure with the comforting warmth of žemlovka, a unique bread pudding, while learning to make our own sweet quark cheese. This series will be a celebration of flavors, traditions, and the joy of cooking together!

FIFTH CLASS: “Žemlovka” – Apple Bread Pudding

In this class, we’ll not only learn to bake this delicious treat, which can be served as a dessert or even a main course, but also master the art of making our own sweet quark cheese from scratch.
