Immigrant Foodways: Slovak Halušky with Cream Cheese and Bacon and with Sauerkraut

Slovak halušky is a very unique and original kind of potato pasta typically found in the Slovak Republic. All attendees will learn about and prepare this pasta totally from scratch, which will be lot of fun and also very easy! Then, you will create two delicious versions of this meal: one with cream cheese and bacon and the other with sauerkraut.

Note: Suitable for vegetarians too – just skip the bacon in the cream cheese version.

Join us for our second virtual Immigrant Foodways Series: Classic & Modern Czech & Slovak Cuisine II. Enjoy a premier cooking class with Chef Tom Slepicka from the comfort of your home.
