Immigrant Foodways: Strudel

Cost: $5, registration required. Space is limited. Open to all ages, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Learn more about the traditions surrounding food, how to make certain recipes and sometimes even taste some great food in this series of workshops.

September is German American Heritage month and, not only is Germany neighbors of Czechia and have shared many cultural aspects, but there are many descendants of Germans in Iowa. We will be celebrating our German friends by learning how to make strudel.
