Superheroes of History Day 2018

Learn about making comics from local comic artist Jonathan Sims! Use your imagination to draw your own superhero, hear about real-life heroes in history, and don’t forget to wear your cape! Costumes are not required, but are encouraged. Because if you can be Batman, always be Batman.

About the artist:
Jonathan Sims is an artist, illustrator, and the creator of Floating BunnyHead, an independently published comic book about four weirdos who battle robots and Draculas and time toads. He also draws pizzas – lots and lots of pizzas. He is currently building a series of radical cartoon food art titled Snack Attack. His secret lair/art studio is in Iowa City, IA.
