Update as of 2/28/23:
NCSML works to ensure the safety and comfort of our visitors. In accordance with Linn County’s recommendations, people may choose to wear a mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a high-quality mask or respirator when indoors in public.
Masks and sanitizer are available at the Front of House. Plexiglass has been installed at the entrance desk and in the museum store. Chip card readers for credit cards are available to provide a limited contact payment option.

We are hoping to stop by in September. We are all vaccinated. Are all Staff members vaccinated???
Hello Bobbie,
In accordance with CDC guidelines, all staff wears masks whether they are vaccinated or not. We also request all NCSML visitors wear a mask while onsite, whether you have or have not been vaccinated.

Do you welcome children with special needs to your museum?
Hi Rachel,
Absolutely! We have several accommodations for those with special needs that you can read more about at https://ncsml.org/visit/accessibility/. We also offer a special rate of $5 per person for groups with disabilities. This includes all chaperones, family members, and caretakers in their party. Are mask required or can I chose not to wear one?
Hi Daniel, we request that all visitors wear a mask, however, it is not mandated at this time.
Do you have to show your vaccination card?
No, we do not require that.
