Update as of 7/18/22:
Following the guidance of the CDC classifying Linn County as having a high level of community transmission of COVID-19, wearing a mask is recommended. Masks will be provided to anyone who requests one.
Plexiglass has been installed at the entrance desk and in the museum store. Chip card readers for credit cards are used so that there will not be unnecessary credit card contact by the employees and/or volunteers.
Frequent cleaning occurs, along with hand sanitizer stations throughout the building.
Thank you!

Absolutely! We have several accommodations for those with special needs that you can read more about at https://ncsml.org/visit/accessibility/. We also offer a special rate of $5 per person for groups with disabilities. This includes all chaperones, family members, and caretakers in their party. Please call 319-362-8500 if you have any further questions.
Thank you!
Are mask required or can I chose not to wear one?
Hi Daniel, we request that all visitors wear a mask, however, it is not mandated at this time.
Do you have to show your vaccination card?
No, we do not require that.
