Sauerkraut can be found in many Czech and Slovak dishes and is a favorite among many other cultural groups. Before we had refrigeration, people needed to find ways to make produce last into the long winters or out on trips and pickling and canning was a good way of doing just that. Join us in learning how to make this beloved food!
