History on Tap: Czech Drinking Establishments (Backpocket Pilot Pub – Cedar Rapids)

Join the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library at the Backpocket Pilot Pub (415 3rd St SE, Cedar Rapidsfor History on Tap!

Special guest Mark Stoffer Hunter, historian at The History Center, will share stories about local bars owned by Czech families. Find out where they were, what they served, and who was enjoying a pivo or two at these establishments!

The event is free, but if you desire some delicious craft beer, that must be purchased from Backpocket Pilot Pub during the program. Must be 21+ to buy beer.

RSVP is required to attend. Seating is limited.

Please note: this program will take place in the loft overlooking the Backpocket Pilot Pub seating area. There are stairs leading up to this area, but no elevator is available to reach the loft.
